Councillors are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Arlington Parish Council to be held on Thursday 12th February 2009 at Arlington Village Hall commencing at 7.30 p.m. The Public have a right and are welcome to attend.

  1. Matters arising. The Clerk to report orally on action taken following the January meeting.
  2. Public adjournment – this will be limited to five minutes per item.
  3. Planning(a) to consider any comment on planning applications in hand: WD/2009/0027/LB Woodlands, Caneheath, Arlington BN26 6SJ. Application for listed building consent to remove existing timber cladding to rear and sides of house and replace with painted render finish, where necessary.

(b) to consider increasing the Clerk’s hours from 25 per month to 30 per  month.           

  1. LARAC business. (a) To consider the future tenancies of allotment plots 12 and 14. Cllr Yeoman will report (correspondence circulated on 22.01.09).

(b)    to consider a request from Mr R Wain for car parking at the Recreation Ground.

(c)    To consider removal of derelict shed.

Clerk’s Report –(a)  to consider an earlier start time for Parish Council Planning Meetings; (b) to consider canvassing support for bringing mains gas supply into the village; (c) to appoint representatives to attend WDC Town and Parish Planning Conference; (d) to consider input to ESCC Draft Cycling Strategy.
