Minutes of Arlington Parish Council Meeting held in the Arlington Village Hall at 10.00 p m on Thursday 24th April 2008. (Paras 08.31 – 08.39)

 

PRESENT: Councillors; John Turton (Chairman), Ray Collins, Paula Ertl, Michael Garner, Doreen Goodchild, Carolyn McCutchan & Helen Proctor.

Mazars – External Auditors – information about external audit 2007/08 – Arlington have been selected for a 5% spot check and all the relevant papers have been gathered. Graham Parish the internal auditor has been contacted to go through all the papers prior to them being submitted.

Mrs L Baxter has resigned as Clerk as she has been appointed as Town Clerk to Polegate – members agreed to interview Mrs Diane Regan on 3rd May at 5.30p.m. who had applied for the position.

Village stores request to hold an event on 14 June on Village Green – request granted

Upper Dicker Hall at 7.30p.m.
