Review terms of reference of LARAC – attached.
Review of representation on or work with external bodies and arrangements for reporting back – list attached.
Review of inventory of land and assets – attached.
Review and confirmation of arrangements for insurance cover in respect of all insured risks – risk assessments attached (last reviewed September 2009); insurance quotes to be circulated.
Review of the council’s memberships of other bodies.
Set the dates, times and places of ordinary meetings of the full Council for the year ahead – suggested list attached.

9. PLANNING

Pre-application consultation following s.106 procedure:

To consider documents and plans relating to the provision of outdoor sports facilities for St Bede’s School on land east of the existing school campus and north of Michelham Priory Road.

To note permissions granted by WDC:

WD/2010/0225/FR and WD/2010/0226/LBR. Providence cottage, Coldharbour Road, Upper Dicker, nr. Hailsham BN27 3QE. Part retrospective application for the demolition of brick boundary wall and its replacement with a similar boundary wall.

WD/2010/0474/FE. St Bede’s School, The Wise Coach Depot, The Dicker, nr. Hailsham BN27 3QH. Renewal of planning permission for car parking, maintenance and associated security lighting.

To note Appeal pending and to consider making representations:

APP/C1435/A/10/2125260/WF. Bourne Farm, Coldharbour Road, Upper Dicker BN27 3PZ. Retention of part existing pool building, removal of existing roof and replacement with lower roof. (WD/2010/0150FR).

10. ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT 2009-2010

To receive the Internal Auditor’s Report – attached
To approve arrears of the Clerk’s pay at Scale 15 (£16,054 from 1^st April 2009 to 31^st May 2010 inclusive) and to rectify the underpayment of £2.49 per month for 13 months = £32.37, in accordance with the Auditor’s Report.
To approve and sign the Statement of Accounts 2009-2010 - attached
To approve and sign the Annual Governance Statement 2009-2010 – attached.

11. FINANCE

To approve the bank reconciliation for the period from 1^st April 2010 to 30^th April 2010 – attached.
To approve accounts for payment – list to be circulated.
To consider increasing the Clerk’s salary to Scale 18 (£17,161) from 1^st June 2010 [30 hours per month @ £8.919 per hour = £267.57 per month, or £3,210.84 per year].
To consider appropriate use of the LAA grant of £766 ‘to further the Council’s links with the community in the spirit of being a Quality Council’.

12. LIST OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF LOCAL IMPORTANCE

To consider whether the parish should participate in the compilation of a Wealden List - papers circulating.
